Bird + Goose Wedding

As many of you know, my life has been crazy and consumed with my sister, Chelsea's wedding! This past weekend, the wedding happened! Bird and Goose got hitched, and let me tell you, the Danielson fam celebrated like nobodies business. It was so perfect and lovely.

I have really random photos from the festivities. I didn't want to carry my camera around with me the day of. So I don't have much of the wedding itself, but lots of pix from the weekend.
Enjoy.

Chelsea and I made the boutonnieres with faux succulents, feathers, twine and a rusted old nail from the groom's grandpa's farm.

We spent 5 days in Red Wing at my parents house:) My girls love Grandma/Grandpa's house. Lots of love.

Kiyah always has her feet crossed when in the high chair.

For the flowers, my mom's friends planted rows and rows of zinnias for the wedding. Also, Chelsea and I hit up a local home about 5 miles away from RW for more black eyed susans, hydrangeas, and green and white zinnias. My mom had met the owner of this fabulous country home, Trudy, at the local farmers market. She gave us the flowers for free. She was so sweet. I wish to have a place with wild flowers someday!

Chelsea and I got manicures and pedicures! Bliss.

Zi and Ry playing games.

Bird and Goose used lots of burlap, chalkboard paint, wine bottles, mason jars, barn wood for their decor. I helped by painting the signs and Order of Ceremony for the wedding.

We rested this framed chalkboard by the entrance for the ceremony. It was a great alternative to typical wedding programs.

Chels had given Curtis really thoughtful gifts for the wedding. She signed the bottom of his Steve Maddens without him knowing! She also, engraved his ring and sewed a heart with a note on the back of his tie without him knowing. Very thoughtful and meaningful.

My sister, Cara, getting her cooking on! She made all the side dishes for the grooms dinner at my parents! It was perfect! Cole slaw, baked beans dish and corn bread muffins!

Lesley, my sister's BFF, brought our fav....... JOIA soda. Local from Mnpls. It is sooooooo yummy!

Curtis' BFF, Rick, was our meat master for the grooms dinner. He spent hours on the pork, making it perfect. He is holding my babe here.

Curtis and my dad built this amazing arbor for the ceremony.

All 10 nieces/nephews were in the wedding. They had musical instruments to walk down the aisle to!

Ryder wanting his mama. (P.S. I am obsessed with my outfit...got it at a local boutique my friend owns, Mainstream Boutique, hit up ladies)

Post rehearsal, at my parents for the dinner! Ry and Zi sitting at the table that Bird made.

Kiyah is one month younger than my cousin Molly's son, Joey (below) and they look so similar.

Chelsea's old co-worker surprised her with making homemade authentic cannolies for the dessert! 70 of them to be exact! Here is Cara, Curtis, and Rick putting in the filling. YUM!!!!!!!

Curtis surprised his bros (Best Men) with sketched pictures of his Grandpa's truck. He made the frames as well. So Cool!

Chels with her new brothers:  Chris, Clint and Carl.

Kwik Trip snacks Pre-Hotel.

View from hotel.

Us girls stayed at the St. James Hotel, Saturday night. It is one of two historical hotels in Minnesota. I also worked there in high school as a hostess and bused tables in the restaurants.

We hit up the 'Bou for coffee on the wedding day.

After coffee, we started decorating and staging the reception! My sisters and I headed over to my parents for hair and makeup after that.......

My Aunt, Renee, made us brunch! It was fab.

The guys putting the signs in for directions.

 Zion getting her hair done.

My girls wore Minnetonka Moccasins.

Wood fire oven pizza served!

Curtis lighting the candles at the head table. The bottles are wine bottles from the vineyard.

All of the desserts were cute tarts and truffles.

We put washi tape on the mason jars for people to sign and drink out of!

Seating chart was on a window! Bird + Goose used bird names for the table numbers! They had a chalkboard wine bottle on every table with the bird name on it!

The arbor where they were married. My dad made the trunks with their initials.

My adorable nephew playing Doctor.

Overall, it was the perfect wedding. I am so excited for Bird and Goose! Cheers to the Jepsens! xoxoxo
