Backyard Bridal Shower + Fam time

This past weekend we hit up Red Wing to stay at my parents to celebrate my sister, Chelsea's Bridal Shower. It was the perfect day. The sun was shining. The flowers were blooming. The cinnamon rolls were baked. The coffee was made. The family and friends gathered......and we celebrated!

We had a relaxing night on Friday with my parents. The girls got baths and we celebrated Fathers day. Zakiyah is loving her avocados still. She is obsessed with chicken as well.

My nephew Ryder!

Cara gave the kids a bath. We thought it was going to be pleasant and cute. Not so much. Kiyah was not a fan.

On Saturday morning,  Chelsea and I headed down to Caribou and the farmers market to get flowers for the shower. My mom and I set up the deck with lots to tables and seating. It was beautiful. We just needed some flowers for centerpieces.

Driving downtown Red Wing made us excited for the Labor Day weekend wedding. It is going to be fun to shoot pix down there. Can't wait.

I love the sidewalks. So fun.

I got my girls some matching dresses at Old Navy. I love the red/white/blue theme!

We tried getting a good pix, but Zion was not having it. 3 YEARS OLD. 'nuff said.

Some of the decorations.......loved the atmosphere.

H54F

Every Friday I link up with Jeanette and Lauren for my week in review. Yesterday, I posted pix as well. You can check them out here. I have had a lovely week. Busy as usual. I hit up Minneapolis for a girls night out, went to graduation parties, worked, had youth group and did the normal mamahood routine. It has been a good week for the fam!

I got the chance to go stay in the cities for a night with two of my girlfriends. It was my first time away since having Kiyah. I enjoyed myself but was excited to get home to my fam. We hit up Mall of America and ran into my old youth girl (far right/Josie). She works at Urban Outfitters. While there, I was inspired for my studio wall. I am wanting to do something fresh!

My inspiration.

After I got home, I couldn't wait for Kiyah to wake up from her nap. She is sooooo cute!

baby feet and my tribal shoes for youth group!

Zion is so full of personality!  She lives outside right now. I can't get over her bed head every morning.

pool day with my z pies.

My friend gave me some hostas and peonies. I have big plans for "someday" for landscaping. So it was a huge blessing for her to share some perennials for our yard.

Above is the before. We planted the lilac tree last year by the studio.

We put in 5 hosta plants around it with rock. It is a start. I like how it is looking........amazing the difference it made.

Above it the before. We planted 5 peonies and cleared out weeds. Andy and I are wanting this to be flowers/plants over time. I love the flowers next to the woods. It is so beautiful.

After pulling weeds and planting flowers.

My garden art from my parents!

I love my deck that Andy built last summer and our backyard. Blessed.

Last night, I hosted a Stella & Dot trunk show. It was a great excuse to clean my house, have yummy food and see my girlfriends. Check out their jewelry! My fav!

I spray painted my fruit stand gold. I officially jumped on the gold bandwagon. It is all the rage in decor. I love it. I have few other projects up my sleeve that I will share with you next week.

I think it turned out fun. Easy change.
Do you have any fun projects brewing?
Any fun summer plans?

Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by
