Lock LOVE Wednesday

Happy Lock Love Wednesday! I have been rocking a different part lately and loving my curls! It is fun having more length to work with. I started LLW to keep this hairstylist accountable. My girls! Sigh. So CUTE! My first born's hair is my fav! She rarely lets me put her hair up like this! We are growing out Zakiyah's hair, so she rocks the sprout a lot! 

Gave my HUS a trim-a-roo last night! He is lookin mighty fine! 

 Love Kari's hair…….. I foiled in A LOT of blondes and low lights to add dimension. I styled her hair with her natural texture and curled it a bit to add some more movement.

 I love Shannon's hair with highlights! She looks beautiful! 

 We are in grow-out mode for Lisa! She normally has a pixie cut and we are growing it to her shoulders! I gave her more variation too with some auburn lowlights mixed in with blonde! She is gorgeous!

 My sister, Chelsea has a TON of hair!!! But, I love her locks! I did highs and lows throughout. I  love her hair! 

 Pat was up for change! I gave her a fun assymetrical new look! I darkened her base and added a few caramel pieces to soften her new style! 

 This is my mama! She normally comes in every 6 weeks and it had been 3 months! Eek. So we did a overhaul to cover the grey and add shine again! 

 My friend Mandy, is a mama and wanted SASSY!  I love her new cute do! 

Yosa is now rocking the ombré! It is fun how it changed her whole appearance! 

 Lexi is one of my youth gals and she just turned 13! This was her birthday pressie! I loved foiling in caramel tones and cleaning up her ends! Lexi, you are a beauty! 

 Casie allowed me to cut 3" off to make her hair healthy again! I used a 1" curling iron to give it nice curls throughout! 

 I love how the honey tones just brighten up Val's whole face! She looks lovely! 

 Sometimes, when you come to Tala, you get Zlady time! My friend Mike's before and after is great! I love the groomed look on him!

Crazy Cass LIFE. 

I have been neglecting the bloglife. I love having this space for my writing and logging our life….. staying inspired and connecting with you……but, sometimes I get tired. I think it is the month 6 of winter syndrome. I need Spring. I don't want to space to be vent/crab fest…so I have been keeping my thoughts to myself…. :) 

All in All, many things to be thankful for.  This past week was busy at Tala and the homefront. Here are a few pix. ( Linking up with Lauren and Jeanett) 

Donuts with my best friend. Why is it so hard to even make time for our favorite people………Much needed girlfriend time while our children ran around.

I am excited to have Easter later in the season this year- maybe it will be more Spring like. Painting eggs :) in swimsuits, of course.

 I am also working on Zion's bedroom right now. I made the tassel garland this week! Zakiyah has successfully slept in the pack-n-play for 4 nights! We are moving the girls into the same room to make room for a office/art studio/guest room ;)

Lock Love Thursday…… Opps

 I love Ashley's transformation! We went with a beautiful copper red and cleaned up her hair length a few inches overall!!!! She looks amazing!

I gave Kristin two colors in foils for a high dimension, yet subtle contrast. I used a high lift natural blonde and a copper/strawberry blonde! I gave her fun layers and curled her hair with a 1" curling iron!  

 It is spring now and I am embracing it! I don't care that there is snow on the ground! This lady is rocking neon and floral headbands. Nuff said. Happy LLT! :)

Sorry for my absence on the blog. Between being on vaca, getting back to the grind and facing the fact that our vacation is over……… I have been procrastinating writing and even looking at the pix. We had a lovely time on our florida trip, but this lady didn't want it to end. ;) 

Needed it.

We stayed with good friends of ours -- Cordie and Katherine -- who happen to be our old youth kids back in the day! They moved to Jax last summer and I was so excited to go and visit them. They love our kids and were so gracious to host us at their place for 7 days! It was perfect!!!!! 

Here are some of our favs off my canon. I will post more this week from our friend's cam and my phone……….

The weather didn't care that the Cass fam was visiting for first 4 days :( But we made the most of it! The first day we took the girls to see the ocean for the first time! Bundled up and made it quick! Coffee at Lillies to follow ;) 

When I travel, I like coffee + doughnuts! A lot of C + D! Dunkin. Krispy Kreme. BLISS. My ladies approved! 

With the rain and colder temps, we got creative. We shopped…… hit up a science museum……Andy/Cordie took Zion to The Lego movie…… we relaxed….. went for coffee…… and go carting……. It was fun! 

On our first nice day, we went to a local park for sunshine in the morning! AMEN! 

After the park we hit up the beach for the rest of the day!!!!!

We went to Celebration Church on Sunday! It was amazing!!!!!! After church, we went to St. Augustine for the afternoon. I love that city! It is the first city in the U.S. Lots of tourists…..shopping, food and all…..

After we bummed around the city, we hit the beach for a few hours……

We spent 3 days at the beach. PERFECT!!!!!
