Lock Love Wednesday

I started Lock Lock Wednesday to get myself motivated to style my hair everyday. It is so easy, for even hair stylists to get in a rut with their hair. I am hoping to inspire you along the way with simple and fun techniques to help you look fabulous! Join me along the way. It will be fun! All you have to do is take snapshots of your hair during the week and link up with me below!

We had a big play at our youth group last week. I styled Jaymi's hair above by doing a french twist and twisted it on top. I didn't do her makeup...but love it!

Zion loves when I put her hair up funky! Here is one of her many looks this week!

My really good friend, Katherine has amazing hair! I put a fish tail braid in it. Someday I will do that too!

Here is my easy updo, I rocked. I put my hair in 3 pony buns and connected the buns with bobby pins. took 3 minutes. easy!

LLW

Happy Lock Love Wednesday! Hope life is treating you fancy! I started LLW to get myself motivated to style my hair. Being a hairstylist, I can get burnt out on styling my hair and wanted a way to get through my hair rut. I post pictures every Wednesday for you of styles that I have worn, styled on others or seen that have inspired me. Join me along the way! Link up below or follow my on Instagram!

I twisted my hair in two sections above and used bobby pins to hold it in place. I used a H&M clip to dress it up. I used Awapuhi Sea Salt Spray and Hairspray for product.

Here I used a curl wand to put some wave in to get texture. I braided both sides and pinned it half up. It took 5 minutes.

I did two wedding styles on Saturday. Josie has fine hair and we wanted something a little less formal and more edgy. I re-shaved her side shave and gave her steps. We roughed it up with hairspray and lots of braids. I love it.

Steph's hair is gorg. I colored it the week before with a ombré technique. We used my curl wand section by section. I used a lot of my dry shampoo before started to dirty it up. I prepped the hair with hairspray. I did a side french braid on the right to swoop it over. It turned out lovely.

Here are some of my styles in Disney this week. I washed my hair this day and and let it air dry. I put in one of Zion's headbands from Etsy in it. I had been getting burnt on my forehead so it was nice to cover it up a little bit.

I pretty much wore my hair down everyday! I love how it is getting longer now.  It is getting more versatile. I used my Awapuhi sea salt spray and hairspray. I curled it with my Hot Tools 1" flat iron.

LOVING this style. I found the tutorial on HERE! I love The Beauty Department for beauty/fashion tips!

We had a wedding on Friday night to go to. My husband was a groomsman and I had so much fun with my outfit. I am boycotting the weather and bringing bright neon to my wardrobe. I have a corny selfie to show you my cute outfit. I love how it was comfortable! I styled my hair with a Hot Tools 1" curling iron and Awapuhi hairspray. I back combed the crown a lot too!

I have been so busy this week, that it is a miracle that i curled my hair. I have been using a 1' hot tools curling iron in my hair now that it is getting longer. I section my hair into 2 sections to achieve this look. I always curl away from my face. I am so excited that my hair is touching my shoulders now!

I am still using my favorite products in my hair by Awapuhi. You can check those out here!

Lots of messy buns/updos lately to get it off my face! My earrings are Stella&Dot.

Here I simply pinned sections of my pony in a loose bun. I totally need to get a nude colored sock bun now!

On top of my normal hair product routine, I have been applying this Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Styling Treatment Oil to my hair before curling. I put in one pump after blowdrying my hair to give it extra moisture. My hair is sick of winter.....dry and tired. This product feels weightless while adding tons of shine. I love it. It smells like the rest of the line.......GINGER. I love it.  I sell it at Tala for $26. It is a little cheaper than Moroccan oil or other products while producing similar results. My hair can handle both oils because it gets so dry and frizzy on the days I wash it. (mention this post and you will receive 20% off this product at your next visit)
