Happy Monday! I thought I would share with you some of my favorite spots around my home. It is all about the little things for me. Have a great day. Have a extra coffee for me please! I am working 11 hours and have to pack for Florida. We leave tomorrow! I can not wait!

my dear friend, Heather gave me this when I was going through my miscarriage. I love it. It is so happy. I pray for my baby everytime I see it.

Praise the Lord it is the weekend! It is April 19th in Minnesota and it is currently snowing as I write. Oh my word! Pray for me.......I am so ready for some heat waves here. It has been a great week in our family though. I thought I would share with you some highlights from it.......

My two daughters- Zion and Zakiyah love cuddling. It is the THE best observing their bond that they are already have. Love.

 I have been experimenting with some new ways to put my hair up. I am loving this look. You can check back next Wednesday for Lock Love Wednesday! (every Wednesday I post my fav. hair styles. i started this to get my butt in gear with styling my hair daily. Link up with me it will be fun!)

I got my hair done this week with my friend Mary. It had been far too long for me. I went to the salon that I used to work at in Rochester- R!ah Hair Studio! Love my Mary and my R!ah peeps. Kiyah was slamming a baby food pouch in this pix. She is so crazy! 

I also did my sister Chelsea's hair this week. Zion was in my studio the whole time helping me work! That 3 year old loves a water bottle, hair clips and round brushes!

I got new specks! I am loving them. They are DKNY. 

My mom just found my baby bonnet from 1981-82 for my baby. I love it. It is so cute. the eyelet lace and the ribbon........

We are getting really close to our Disney trip. I can not wait to live it up Cass style with my hus and girls! It is our first real vacation as a family. So needed. So pumped. We are crazy busy with wedding festivities this weekend before we leave!

I started Lock Lock Wednesday to get myself motivated to style my hair everyday. It is so easy, for even hair stylists to get in a rut with their hair. I have been so busy this week, that it is a miracle that i curled my hair. I have been using a 1' hot tools curling iron in my hair now that it is getting longer. I section my hair into 2 sections to achieve this look. I always curl away from my face. I am so excited that my hair is touching my shoulders now! 

I am still using my favorite products in my hair by Awapuhi. You can check those out here! 

Lots of messy buns/updos lately to get it off my face! My earrings are Stella&Dot. 

Here I simply pinned sections of my pony in a loose bun. I totally need to get a nude colored sock bun now! 

On top of my normal hair product routine, I have been applying this Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Styling Treatment Oil to my hair before curling. I put in one pump after blowdrying my hair to give it extra moisture. My hair is sick of winter.....dry and tired. This product feels weightless while adding tons of shine. I love it. It smells like the rest of the line.......GINGER. I love it.  I sell it at Tala for $26. It is a little cheaper than Moroccan oil or other products while producing similar results. My hair can handle both oils because it gets so dry and frizzy on the days I wash it. (mention this post and you will receive 20% off this product at your next visit)

mamahood is a gift.....

I feel so redundant with my attitude of this weather. 

I am trying really hard to stay positive and count my blessings. 

I thought I would share with you some of my favorites around our house currently.

Spring is in our home.

Finding inspiration in my decorating books! Love looking through them from time to time. I also love my vintage runner underneath them. It makes me smile.

I picked up these purple flowers at Trader Joes. Do you know what they are called? Any care instructions for me? I put them in a pot from Anthropologie. I heart it.

I love my paper flowers from West Elm. So delicate and happy. I have 3 total.

I painted my mirror this past weekend cream and sanded it down. I used a gold sharpie on the stitching.

Everyday Zion gets her dolls dressed. very important. love the routines.

My baby is almost 8 months. She has been wearing her teething necklace for 5 days. and has slept 4 nights in a row- 11 hours. Is it a hoax? a gimmick? I am willing to try anything. She loves her rice cake num nums right now! 

We take off for Disney in a week! We made a count down and taped it on the wall with washi tape of course. It is sneaking up on us fast! I can not wait to see Zion's excitement when we get there. 

Eating cuties like no body's business.

I love bowls/trays to hold items in my home. I have them everywhere. They make me happy.

My spring nails make this mama happy. I am lovin' these colors this spring.
